ADMISSION:

• Admission is based on a first come first serve basis.  If our maximum enrollment of 200 students is at capacity, students will be placed on a waiting list.  Students will be picked from the waiting list at random.
• Any student interested in attending CEC must complete the application packet which is available in the school office. 
• Cesar E. Chavez Academy Charter School reserves the right to refuse admission to any student that has a documented history of discipline/behavior problems that is not consistent with the goals and mission of CEC Charter School.  Implementation of this handbook and all other policies of CEC will comply with all applicable state and federal laws including laws relating to special education.

• Students may be searched at any time, for any reason, as determined by staff, while on campus and campus grounds.
• CEC is not responsible for the loss, damage, and/or stolen personal property brought on school grounds by any student.
